I happened to be working on a diversity project on Malaysia and asked my sister in Malaysia if she could find me the old Oh Malaysia Song in a CD and she direct me to your website. The tune to the song is correct but missing some lyrics. I wrote this song out of Memory and here it is.
OH MALAYSIA
On the shore beyond the tropical sea You will stand to welcome me On the shore beneath the sky so blue All my dreams at last will come true
Oh Malaysia, land of glory Where I found my heart’s true love In the night so warm and tender and the sun refuse to shine Soon we’ll meet, in dear Malaysia You will be forevermore
Another song is a malays song, Why do I fall in love.
Have you heard it. I cannot write it in Malay as I have forgotten the language but the tune is in my head. Please email me if you can.

I only know the song from my mum. She told me that she learned it from my late grandaunties. She couldn’t recall the lyrics & what I posted was what I googled.
Your words of wisdom (or quoted wisdom) have kept me going in difficult times the past 2 months. THANK YOU!!!
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden path or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; this is to have succeeded.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson 1803 ~
You’re most welcome, Hills.
Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful quote by Emerson.
I very much liked the artistic greetings wishing Happy Deepavali and would like to publish that picture in my journal LAW ANIMATED WORLD,

Welcome, Sourabh.
I hope you understand that they are very personal.. hence, the privacy.
However, I’m sure you have plenty to read from all the other non- password protected posts.

Thank you for the full lyrics. Much appreciated.
As for the Malay song, I will need to ask around.
I can’t promise to help you but I’ll try.

Your lyrics not completely correct.
Oh Malaysia, land of glory
Where I found my hearts true love
In the night so warm and tender
with the moon and stars above
Chorus: On the shore…
When we parted,life was sadness
And the sun refuse to shine
Soon we’ll meet in dear Malaysia
And you’ll be forever mine
Thank you for rectifying them, Henry.
Much appreciated.
