Try a new Flavour of Ice Cream

August 7, 2006

Life’s simple pleasures are often life’s greatest pleasures. A new flavour of ice cream, a single fresh flower, a warm slice of homemade bread, taking time to watch an entire sunset unfold – each can be a delight to the senses and bring about a greater sense of well-being and hope.

Simple pleasures are those that don’t need to be “saved for” or put off until vacation time. They are readily available to evoke the feelings of contentment and satisfaction that soothe frayed nerves. They give an extraordinary quality to otherwise ordinary days.

And best of all, they nearly always can be shared.

Have you tried some of those ‘funny’ flavors in Taiwan? Roast pork ice cream? You get the idea …. it’s one of those things that make you re-examine your faith in ice cream.

wanted to try the octopus and seaweed ice cream i think… too bad cant find it in aussie. uncle told me bout it after his trip to japan.

Hmm.. interesting. I’m gamed to try the seaweed but I’m not too sure about the octopus ice cream.

but now i prefer gelati… minus the 99% fat free crap. heh. anything like baileys, mango,… gelati.. as long as its gelati. 😀

When I was travelling around Tuscany last year, I had the best gelati in San Gimignano. I still think San G has the best gelati in the whole of Italy. 😀
