Intimacy
January 24, 2007
Feelings are the language of the heart.
The feelings you share determine the quality of your relationship.
If you cannot tell your feelings, your relationship is empty, distant, a figment of your hope, too fragile to trust in dark times.
It is your love that motivates you to be together.
It is your pain that obliges you to share.
And it is the remembrance of your joy together that gives you the courage to risk being open.
A loving heart cannot bear isolation.
When you share your feelings, you are least alone.
The feelings you withhold also limit the love you can express.
If you conceal your hurt, you forget your love.
If you lie about your anger, you cannot tell if your love is real.
Your feelings have to be heard in order for them to be fully expressed.
Ask to be heard and speak plainly.
Share your painful feelings and be free to love once more.
I admit my pain and sorrow in order to know joy.
I believe in my strength in order to find it.

Sharing will empower us
Sharing will enable us to know each other better
True without the extreme you would not know the other extreme
No sorrow, no joy
no dark, no light
Learn to express it and learn to embrace it at the same time
🙂
Hugs!
I’m learning, Matt..

think a lot of us fail to share our feelings…even to loved ones…some of us just aren’t the type who shares…but then, for a relationship to work…we’ve just have got to try.
Yes, we have to try.
Thanks ,Tihtahpah. 🙂

I’m Eight! yay! 🙂 [Or maybe ninth or tenth or something]. 🙂
Um … just to add … sharing feelings does not always have to be via words either. Sometimes it might be a simple touch, or a look. After all, we communicate on many different levels with each other. Some people are mute, and others are deaf, and we can all share our feelings even if we have a disadvantage in some fields.
Now, I better say something funny before I start to cry. 🙂
*dabs tissue near eyes* 🙂
You are No.8 😛
That’s so true, Dabs. HUGS!
Here.. here.. you can have my shoulder to cry on. Hehe.. 😉

We all want intimacy; but it all depends on the person whom we want it with.
(:
I know exactly what you mean, Kyels.
The person I want it with.. only has someone else in his heart & mind.
*Sigh*

Jemima – ‘The person I want it with.. only has someone else in his heart & mind.’
Want us to go around their house and burn it down. Maybe they’ll notice you then. 🙂
Of course, they might be in a similar situation. They have a heart and mind for someone else, but that someone else might be wanting someone else again. The joys of unrequited love. 🙂
We’d then be forced to go burn down someone elses house for them, and so on and so on … 🙂
If there is a sudden increase in arson in your neighbourhood, be grateful I am on the job for all young lovers out there. 🙂
*Gasp* No! No! No! Dabs.. I beg you.. please don’t do that.
Make Love Not War is my belief.. hehe..

Oh, I wasn’t doing it to make war. I was just doing it to get peoples attention! 🙂
OK OK.. 😆
