We’re Only Human

March 29, 2007

Being human has never been an easy task.

Our humanity makes us vulnerable to heartbreak, disappointment, and regret.

Our expectations of ourselves, along with the expectations others have for us, can be difficult or even impossible to meet.

By embracing our imperfections and limitations, we grow to accept ourselves.

We ease our sadness when we allow ourselves to make (and learn from) our human mistakes.

“Life is like playing a violin in public..

and learning the instrument as one goes on.”

– Samuel Butler –

    We all learn; every day.
