“Whether the stone hits the jar or the jar hits the stone, it’s bad for the jar,” is a paraphrase of an old proverb. Whether we like it or not, jars get broken in this world we live in. Think for a few minutes of all the “jars” that have broken in your life; and all those that you yourself may have broken.

We should be thankful for the jars that are not broken and make an effort to fill the empty jars.

I do agree but the agony is there, whenever a jar breaks.

    Definitely, Kyels.

But sometimes, it can be fixed. Though the cracks will always show, its now a bit stronger than before.

Sha, that’s true.. but it will never be in its original state again.

  4. moz monster Says:

Jars don’t have to be broken … sometimes we break it because we’re overcome with anger and need a release. Perhaps more constructive ways of venting frustration?

Moz, actually it’s just an analogy. jars = hearts.

Never heard about this old proverb. How true it is.. *nod*

btw, I think this is my first time in here 😀

    Welcome, Selba.

I’m glad you agree with the proverb.

    er.. super glue helps.
hearts can be mended. got scar, but if allowed to heal, the scar will be just a hair line crack. hardly noticeable and made more sweeter because it is now stronger.

Misti, that is very sweet of you.
    Your comment is very motivating.
    I like it. Thanks.

No matter what we do, we can’t prevent it at all
    What an ironic thing

Mattz, I’m just sad that there are some friends who hurts & breaks my heart by judging me non-stop.

  9. Shez Says:

    It’s very true.
Even we still have unbroken jars we still can’t forget the pain of having the jars broken.

The ‘scar’ (crack) remains, Shez. Hence, it will always serves as a reminder.

  10. ‘I’m just sad that there are some friends who hurts & breaks my heart by judging me non-stop.’

How is this for a judgement:
Ten out of Ten for being you! 🙂

You can’t score any higher than that! 😉

    Thanks, Dabs. 🙂
