The society we live in seems determined to pack as much as possible into every day – work, recreation, family time, good deeds – everything, it seems, but rest and relaxation.
Our hectic lifestyles seem shortsighted in light of the fact that physicians say rest enhances the enjoyment and effectiveness of all our other efforts.
Rest, both physical and mental, will render you more alert, more productive, more efficient, and less irritable – in a word, happier!
