Where were you…

…when I needed you most?

You sent this to me on 16 September 2006:

“You will always find a friend in me

As you are a treasure to me.”

But now…… where will I find comfort?

You packed in the morning
I stared out the window
And I struggle for something to say
You left in the rain without closing the door
But I didn’t stand in your way

Now I miss you more
than I missed you before
and now where will I find comfort?
God knows
Cause you left me
Just when I needed you most
(you) you just left me
just when I needed you most

Now most every morning
I stare at the window
And I think about where you might be
I’ve written you letters that I like to send
If you would just send one to me

Cause I need you
more than I needed before
and now where will I find comfort?
God knows
Cause you left me
Just when I needed you most
Yes you left me
just when I needed you most

(yooouuuu Just when I needed the most)

You packed in the morning
I stared out the window
And I struggle for something to say
You left in the rain without closing the door
I didn’t stand in your way

Now I love you more
Than I loved you before
and now where will I find comfort?
God knows
Cause you left me
Just when I needed you most
you left me
just when I needed you most

Oooh Yoouu left me
Just when I needed you most

Such a sad song, hor? So very sad..
That song used to have such an impact on me once, back in the Eighties, but now, like the devastating memory it reminded me of, that too has faded with time..

    HUG HUG HUGS!

I love listening to songs & I can associate many songs with events that had happened in my life, LB.
Yes, this is a very sad song..

    *HUGS HUGS HUGS back*

this is one of my favourite songs, always on my iPod nano. a sad one, yet somehow it’s magnetic…

    I prefer Randy Vanwarmer’s version though… 😉

It’s one of my faves & I do prefer Randy’s version too.. May.
But, this music video is more appropriate for the post than Randy’s.

  11. Yvy Says:

like u, i can easily relate to songs especially songs from savage garden although ted thinks them sissies! 🙂 all the same, this was one of those songs that i happen to like a lot coz it was meaningful to me at one point. hope u’re doing a-ok. *huggies*

Yvy, I bet you love listening to “Truly Madly Deeply”. 😛

  12. Kyels Says:

Just thought I’d say this to you; I’ll never ask you to stay strong because I know how much these things hurt and can pull one down. It’s a mere lie to tell you to be strong because it all depends on the individual itself. Somehow, certain people will not admit their mistakes even though they are pointed with a gun. They are that thick-skinned. To admit one’s own fault deals with great courage. Only cowards will not declare what they’ve done wrong in the past.

Anyway, it’s pointless to hope for someone to be there when they are not willing to do so. I know that feeling well enough to comprehend what you are going through.
