Positive Words create a Positive Life

October 21, 2007

Good news travels fast and bad news travels faster. For some reason, people are more willing to pass along the negative things they hear than the positive. In so doing, they lose out on the positive return, for everything they say comes back to them eventually.

The road to true happiness is paved with compliments and praise. Such words bring hope and encouragement to both the speaker and the hearer. The positive things you say can also establish your reputation as a person of integrity, winning you the trust, admiration, and respect of others.

There is nothing that can’t be made worse by telling.

    Think happy thots! Whoopie…

    But it’s kinda difficult to do that… on a Moanday esp… argh…

I think it’s human nature to goss… the bad part is the amount of salt, pepper & chilli added to it in the process…

    Good week ahead, Jemima! :-*

That sounds like KFC’s 11 herbs & spices, Angel. πŸ˜›

Wishing you a good week & a good trip. πŸ˜‰

  10. Kyels Says:

It’s not easy to be optimistic but sometimes we all ought to try so the coming days will be better.

  11. kat Says:

You like Norman Rockwell too? So do I. A bit kitschy, but I like. To me, he is the Enid Blyton of the art world in his visual depictions of the American life in the early 20th century. Sweet and sentimental, much like all the E.Blyton books with their chocolate blancmanges and boarding school midnight feasts!

Whoever gossips to you will gossip about you. ‘Nuff said.

Wish you a happy week, dear jem.

    *hug*

Kat, I like your perception of Norman Rockwell as Enid Blyton of Fine Art. πŸ™‚

Yep, as _butt had commented earlier.. ” what goes around comes around”.

Hope you have a great week too.. *hugs*

  12. Ashish Says:

  14. zewt Says:

but fake praise is no praise… dont u think?

Hence, I don’t bother to praise anyone.. if it doesn’t come from the heart, Zewt.

  15. Grant Says:
