We Reap What We Sow

February 25, 2009

Have you ever doubted that we reap what we sow?

We do! Beyond a shadow of a doubt. You plant the seed of a vegetable. You get the exact vegetable. Not another one. So be careful. You are planting seeds every moment of your existence, and those seeds will blossom. Sow bad seeds, get bad results. Sow good seeds, get good results. It makes perfect sense.

And be aware that you are planting seeds. It is important to monitor the seeds. You might ask yourself, “Why do I have to keep planting seeds?” The answer is that you can’t help yourself. Every thought is a seed that will eventually blossom. So, monitor your thoughts.

As I look back over disappointing times in my life, I can plainly see that I set it all up by the seeds I planted. Of course, I didn’t know it at the time. I wasn’t aware that every person has her or his garden and is not going to get apples if they grow oranges.

Ask any farmer. It’s his business to deal in reaping and sowing.

Thoughts are seeds. Take care when planting them.

  3. A farmer’s life is hard but at least he can be sure of what he had sown, he will likely reap. We can learn from that, it’s true. No more running around like headless chickens! šŸ˜›
