Hold

April 19, 2010

The river of time is ever changing, constantly moving.

Though you may wish to hold on to a certain season of your life, the seasons change.

You can hold each changing moment with an open hand, knowing that it will be fill again with something new.

Hold things lightly instead of clutching them tightly.

A clenched fist grows stiff and tired from holding on, while an open hand is able to give and receive freely.

Allowing the ebb and flow to move easily creates room for grace to enter.

  1. Hold things lightly and sometimes be ready to let go, for only when we let go do we free ourselves to receive greater blessings. 🙂

Thanks for the thought. Much appreciated.
      God bless. 🙂
