Simplicity

October 31, 2010

I can’t help but to share this. It speaks to the heart. We strive constantly to put aside the simple things for bigger, better and pricier ones.  Yet many times, these material things can never represent what we truly want to convey.

It is normally the simplest of gestures, the simplest of words, the most plain of designs and the purest of concepts that strike a chord deep down in us. To achieve that, we have to shed our desire for the complex and embrace the simple.

Enjoy!

  1. This is beautiful, dear. I clicked on the video thinking it might be something closer to a management-self-help sorta clip, given its title. (This, despite your introductory words, mind you.)

It’s not what I expected at all, and beyond its message, even the film and story itself is simple, and therefore, beautiful.

I think my comment has run too long already and is far from simple, but I guess what I am trying to say is: Thank you (for sharing, for this, for being you).

    *hugs*
