Small Delights

Life is made up of little things. Big events like births, graduations, weddings, family reunions at Christmas and other milestones of life are important, but the greatest percentage of life is lived in the daily round.
When you open your eyes in the morning, be fully aware of how good the bed feels. Enjoy the simple pleasures of the day – a friend’s laughter, the sun breaking through the clouds, a phonecall from a friend, a favourite song on the radio or a friend’s hug.
Just before you go to sleep, think about the small delights of your day and be thankful for them.
I take delight in the small gifts & blessings given to me every day.

We sometimes take the small delights for granted i agree….but i’m learning to appreciate the smallest things like lounging in front of the tv.
Hehe.. Let me tell you a little secret.. that’s what I had been doing for the last three nights. 😉

You know Jems, everytime I pray I thank God for the most important things; clothes on my back, food on the table and a home to keep me safe and sheltered. Thank God for all the small things including your wonderful little thoughts =)
Well.. we should take delight in the small gifts that God sends us every day. 🙂

Thank God there’s a lovely song titled “All You Need is Love”.
Small delight. Just what small delight I got today? Let me see… hmmm… gave some presents to my young cousins and in return they gave me some laughter by seeing their antics. I consider that a delight. Had soup at aunt’s place for dinner. Thats also a delight.

1. A friend whom I haven’t seen for over a year rang me & we have arranged to meet up this weekend. 🙂
2. Another friend complimented that I look good these days. 🙂
Those were some of the small delights that made up my today. 😉
